Responsibilities
The Executive Assistant serves as the main contact person for Winsted Health Center Inc. (WHC) and the Winsted Health Center Foundation (WHCF) Partners and Trustees, Corporators, and the Community at large. Principal responsibilities include: Managing the office (handling phones, correspondence, overseeing office machine maintenance, ordering supplies). Establishing and maintaining--in orderly, retrievable fashion--the current and past records of The WHC and WHCF. Providing administrative support for Trustees and Committee Meetings (schedules, agendas, minutes, attachments). Maintaining liaison with current WHC Partners. Researching and analyzing information in coherent form. Providing administrative support for fund development activities (establishing/maintaining computerized donor files, preparing materials (including newsletters) for mailing, providing staff support for special events, etc.). Preparing/presenting oral/written reports for the Board. The position reports to the President, Board of Trustees. Qualifications and Experience The successful candidate will have earned an Associates Degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and have demonstrated computer and office skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, desktop publishing and internet-related activities. PowerPoint and QuickBooks experience preferred. Superior written and oral communication skills necessary. Salary and Benefits The Winsted Health Center offers an attractive salary and benefits package. Workweek is 37 ½ hours. Attendance at up to two evening meetings a month is required.
